Milana

 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub is an American actress, comedian and activist. She was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and began her career as an actor when she was a young girl, shortly after moving to the United States. She is most famous for her appearances in AT&T television commercials. In these commercials, Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and in 2020 (since 2020 (since). Her commercial appearances were not her only activity she was involved in. She also appeared on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction show Other Space (2015). She also played regularly featured on the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. Vayntrub, who was originally selected to voice the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's unaired pilot for New Warriors in 2018, has voiced the character since. Vayntrub is a Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native, and also a Jew. When she was two years old her parents and she immigrated to the U.S. as refugees to get away from antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. Due to financial hardships in the family, she began acting in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was just five years old. Vayntrub briefly studied at Beverly Hills High School. After her sophomore year, she dropped out and earned a GED. She went on however to earn a Bachelor of Arts Communication degree from the University of California San Diego. She studied improv comedy with the Upright Citizens Brigade.
