Jacques Bermon Webster II (born on April 30, 1991), better known by his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott), is an American rapper, singer and songwriter. He is also a record producer. His stage name is that of a favorite uncle and the first name of Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label contract with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing contract for GOOD Music with Kanye West. He signed a joint recording deal with Epic Records and T.I. The's Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first full-length album, Owl Pharaoh (1983), was self-released. The mixtape was followed by the release of a second mixtape called Days Before Rodeo, in 2014. Rodeo (2015) Rodeo, his debut studio album included the hit song "Antidote". The album that followed entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first top-ranked album on the Billboard 200. The next year, Scott released a collaborative album featuring Quavo entitled Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho under the name group Huncho Jack.In 2018 his third album, Astroworld, was released to great acclaim. It also featured the debut Billboard Hot 100 number one single, "Sicko Mode" (featuring Drake). Scott's Cactus Jack Records album JackBoys was released on the Billboard 200 in late 2019. After the single "Franchise", Scott (featuring Young Thug) and M.I.A. were released, it was a top hit on the 200-page chart on Billboard. Scott was the first artist to be ranked first place on the Hot 100 with three songs in less than a year.
